Our Client requires consulting services for the timely and high-quality development, editing and review of documents, briefing materials and presentations for upcoming planning and reporting key documents such as the Report on Plans and Priorities (RPP), Departmental Performance Report (DPR), and special reports to the Treasury Board or other bodies on planned and actual accomplishments.

The contracted resource will be engaged on an as-needed basis to support Strategic Planning and Change Communications’ development of a variety of formal Government of Canada documents, plans and reports for the new department. The resource will:
• Provide strategic and tactical advice on messaging and audience needs
• Develop, edit and revise documents to promote maximum impact and effectiveness, including explanations of changes
• Ensure effective structure and design of key documents in the early states of development and highly effective quality control prior to release and publication.

In support of sound management and responsible spending, Our Client strives to ensure best value for money to ensure the financial sustainability of its programs and services. Our Client is seeking an independent study to determine whether the current management and funding model for the provision of general purpose office space requires improvements or replacement in order to support increased efficiencies and effectiveness. The study is to identify what model would best enhance Senior GC Officials’ awareness of accommodation costs, improve cost containment as well as support other GC objectives, which will be identified at the outset of the study. Any recommended changes to the current management and funding model must identify the resulting policy and/or legislative changes that would be required in order to implement the recommendations.
