Recent and substantial changes to the organizational structure, mandate and budget have presented an opportunity to refine the direction of Plant Health activity. This new direction will facilitate more efficient and timely delivery of the Plant Health mandate while keeping pace with evolving pressures from industry and the global market. Successful implementation of the new Plant Health Strategy is dependent on its ability to be seamlessly integrated with other agency modernization initiatives, including but not limited to:
• Our CLient’s Long term strategic plan
• Blueprint 2020
• Our CLient’s Biosecurity Strategy
• Concept of Operations
• Animal Health Strategy (under development)
• Inspection Modernization
• Agency Transformation
• Deficit Reduction Action Plan (DRAP) Initiatives
Consulting support is required to renew the plant health strategy for the Plant Health and Biosecurity Directorate.
