As a Business Transformation Consultant you work Federal Government clients who are striving for efficiencies and cost reductions by offering “smarter, faster, better” services. Your communication skills facilitate a conversation with your client that allows you to define their ‘as-is’ state. Your business and technology knowledge and understanding of your client’s needs allow you to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, evaluate options, define the to-be model . Your recommendations consider and assess the impact on the organization. You work closely with other professionals to ensure there is appropriate management of organizational change – people, processes, and technology.

As a Business Transformation Consultant you:
• Communicate with clients in a way that allows for effective identification of issues, builds credibility and trust;
• Have the ability to identify organization/ project business opportunities for improvement and streamlining of processes;
• Understand the importance of ‘seeing the bigger picture’ and impact one change can have on an overall business system/ process and are able to analyze, evaluate, and develop business processes (financial, operations, systems, etc);
• Identify and evaluate critical success parameters, factors ad performance measurements;
• Easily relate to senior level business professionals and highly skilled technical professionals, can bridge the gap between the two and can assist them in the development and implementation of business improvement processes and programs.

As a member of the IT/net Management Consulting Practice you:
• Provide high quality consulting services to our clients;
• Participate in and contribute to the success of the practice area;
• Develop trusted and long lasting relationships with clients;
• Contribute to the sales process by attending meetings, participate in the RFP process and completing quality assurance reviews as requested;
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel to foster an environment of teamwork, information sharing and continuous improvement.

To be successful you require:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration or a related Discipline;
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development activities;
• Relevant professional certifications (CBAP a definite asset);
• The ability to speak both official languages is an asset;
• The ability to work as part of cross functional teams, develop professional standard reports, manage your time and contribute to the success of the organization ;
• A minimum of 5 years proven Business Transformation/ Business Analysis/ Business Consulting experience
• Current Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance
