As an Information Management Consultant who possesses a minimum of 3 years GCDocs experience, you have worked with clients to analyze business needs and worked with them to develop solutions. Your GCDocs implementation strategies have included; visioning, defining strategies for different document categories based upon business value, retention & disposition. During this process you have also factored in business value, metadata and taxonomy, and implementation planning and execution. Your project management skills including defining a project charter, planning, scheduling, risk, and issue management have ensured successful delivery of an on budget and on time solution.
As a GC Docs Consultant you:
• Have an understanding of and appreciation for the differences between traditional ECM products and GCDocs that create a need for business transformation and management of organizational change;
• Use you technical knowledge of GCDocs to assist in the development of implementation strategies that meet a business need;
• Easily relate to senior level business professionals and highly skilled technical professionals and can bridge the gap between the two.
As a member of the IT/net Management Consulting Practice you:
• Provide high quality consulting services to our clients;
• Participate in and contribute to the success of the practice area;
• Develop trusted and long lasting relationships with clients;
• Contribute to the sales process by attending meetings, participate in the RFP process and completing quality assurance reviews as requested;
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel to foster an environment of teamwork, information sharing and continuous improvement.
To be successful you require:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration or a related Discipline;
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development activities;
• Relevant professional certifications (Prince II or PMP a definite asset);
• The ability to speak both official languages is an asset;
• The ability to work as part of cross functional teams, develop professional standard reports, manage your time and contribute to the success of the organization ;
• A minimum of 5 years proven Information Management experience with at least 3 years defining GCDocs implementation strategies;
• Current Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance
