Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, for Microsoft Lync, to meet the business and application requirements.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative unified communication and collaboration technology solutions to meet business problems
• Ensure the integration of all aspects of Microsoft Lync technology within the existing Microsoft Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) deployment, including but not limited to SharePoint and MS Exchange.
• Perform issue and incident resolutions as required.
• Address technical issues as required within the CIE.
• Install and configure required software/hardware/licensing.
• Configure and integrate software / hardware as per existing CIE solution design.
• Review best practices on operating the Microsoft CIE and future releases of the CIE.
• Update CIE environment as new releases become available and ensure integration with existing equipment.
• Define and validate system requirements for future deployment
• Validate solution design for future deployment
• Create to be solution design document
• Configure and integrate as per solution design
• Deploy to pilot group for future deployment
• Test pilot deployment
• Implement system into production ready state
• Develop a production roll out plan
• Identify and recommend technical options. Prepare and deliver presentations to project authorities.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing
• Conduct issues remediation
• Finalize system documentation
• Conduct ongoing performance tuning through configuration changes
• Implement changes based on new or revised operational requirements
• Liaise with IMTD support groups when additional support/advice/escalation is required.
